Cyrus Settineri – President, headquarter and distributor sales

Cyrus Settineri is an entrepreneur. During his final year at Rutgers University, he joined Ferolie Food Brokerage in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as a sales and marketing specialist. From there, he owned and operated two restaurants in Stamford and Milford, CT. The first restaurant was successful, but the second was a financial disaster, leaving him heavily in debt with no career. In 1982 he entered into the food brokerage business. He feels that sales are the most fun you can have in business.

Settineri is active in industry organizations, both local and national. He is on the Admissions Committee and the Broker Advisory Board for the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, and the Knights of the Grip. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Milford Rotary Club and traveled as their representative to Tanjay Philippines in 2002 and 2003 to open an emergency medical clinic. He was on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross, chairman of Major Corporate Donations for United Way and developed a unique program for Junior Achievement. He is also a trustee for the Milford Fine Arts Council.

Settineri was once selected as Who’s Who in Connecticut and Who’s Who in the East in 1992. He enjoys golf and bike riding. He also plays baseball and softball and coaches his son’s Little League team. Cyrus resides in Milford with his children, Margeaux and Max.

Fredrick Hebert – Sales Associate

Fred received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Nichols College in Massachusetts.  Fred has over 40 years of progressively responsible and business experience in the confectionery industry with expertise in product development, developing and implementing sales programs, marketing and the ability to provide leadership to sales teams.

Fred began his career in the confectionery industry as a third generation confectioner and owner of Hebert Candies, Inc. in New England.  Fred was Vice President of Acme Import Company and has been a key member of Tilden Sales in New England.  Fred remains active in industry organizations.

Fred lives in Shrewsbury, MA with his wife Christina, and has two children, Matthew and Caitlin.  He enjoys golf, tennis and fishing.

Diane Palmieri – Manager

Diane received an Associate of Science Degree from South Central College. She also graduated from Branford Hall School of Business.

She worked for nine years at Starter Corporation. She was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Domestic and International Sales. She was the liaison for all sales reps. Also Diane managed all special events, trade shows and off site sales meetings.

Diane joined CS Brokers in 1999. She is responsible for maintaining client contacts, overseeing the day to day activities of the office and developing presentations. She is the liaison with principals and customers. Diane also coordinates store demos and promotional support.

Diane is active in various community activities as well as The American Cancer Society, Home Front, Special Olympics and Social Concerns. In her spare time she enjoys painting, cooking and gardening. Diane lives in Branford with her husband Gene and daughters, Christine and Adrienne.

Maryann Salzillo – Customer Service

Maryann received a Bachelor of Administration degree from Pace University in NYC. She worked at OCI Chemical as a Customer Service Administrator. She assisted customers with order inquiries and processed all billing and invoicing.

Maryann joined CS Brokers in March 2006. She is responsible for assisting with client and customer contacts, office administration and managing order follow-ups. She assists in acting as liaison for principles and customers. Also, she is responsible for processing and follow up of orders, as well as assisting vendors in collection and credit.

Maryann lives in Milford with her husband Angelo and children, Anthony and Teresa.
