Consulting
Cyrus Settineri has spent a lifetime at the cutting edge of the food business.
It all began with Mr. Settineri’s mentors – his father and uncle (Cy & Joe Settineri). They were pioneers, developing the first Italian frozen food company in the United States; Roman Products. While revolutionizing the food industry by inventing frozen pizza, they also gave birth to a young man’s passions.
Mr. Settineri remains true to this legacy today, having created one of the most innovative and successful food brokerage firms in the business.
Prior to founding CS Brokers in 1982, Mr. Settineri had a broad range of experiences within the food industry that continue to serve him well today. He worked for a food brokerage company in the New York metropolitan area, then in several restaurants, and eventually owning two restaurants in Connecticut.
In addition to the lessons learned from his father and uncle, Settineri also credits the efforts of many other people as instrumental to the success CS Brokers now enjoys.
So, it should be no surprise that Mr. Settineri takes every opportunity to ‘give back’. He has been speaker at symposiums and seminars worldwide, sharing his three decades of experience.
Ever increasing the scope of his endeavors, CS Brokers has now developed a national sales network for two of its vendors.
Consulting on product development, sales and marketing, is a service offered to new, current and future clients.
Testimonials
**We have been working with CS Brokers for the past six months. We are delighted with their performance, as they have significantly exceeded our sales goals and have been a pleasure to work with. Cyrus and his team are truly partners in our business.
-Bill Stewart, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Tom Clark Confections, Inc.
**Your presentations were valuable to us, several people commented on you and thanked me for including you in our program. In addition, your unique and effective presentation style and sense of humor added so much to the program, and all of our other events! You are one of the reasons that our conference was such a success – thank you for traveling all the way to South Africa to share your expertise and experience with us.
- Amanda Hilligas, AGOA Trade Advisor – Southern Africa Global Competitiveness Hub
** I have been working with Cyrus and CS Brokers since 1999. At that time, No Pudge! was very small and virtually unknown, yet Cyrus saw something that many other brokers did not and was willing to take on my line and pioneer it. His guidance and counsel have proven to be invaluable and our distribution and sales in New England have grown significantly. Over the years Cyrus has become a trusted broker (two words not often spoken together…) and a valued friend.
- Lindsay Frucci, President – NO PUDGE! Brownie Mix
